What an amazing experience I had here!!b The greeting from the hostesses was on point. The service from our waitress was amazing! I highly recommend the "Dirty Sanchez" shooters (omG - Delicious) and the margarita was perfect. Our food was so good - we felt welcomed and I will now become a regular here. Can't wait for the next visit. Ps. Compared to all of the other places around, the air was COOL and fresh which we welcomed with this heat and humidity this was a plus. I highly recommend!!

Can't comment on the food because we walked out. Waited 20 min after being seated, after nobody came by to take drink orders, we had to walk out. Place is dirty. Dead fly squished into my menu. Staff could care less about customers. Don't give these people your money!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely terrible service. We had a party of 9 and they sat us at a round table for 6. When I asked if we could possibly put two 4 top tables together instead on their very empty patio, they acted as if I had asked them to carve us a new table. It took them a good 10 extra minutes to figure it out and get the tables pushed together. We then sat down and no one came to take our drink order. After several wait staff walked by us without acknowledging us and a good 20 min we got up and left. One of the members of our party went to tell a manager about the situation and she just blew him off. Absolutely terrible--we won't set foot in there ever again and after reading the reviews about the food I am almost happy we got crappy service so we didn't have to be subjected to the terrible, over-priced food. Avoid this place at all costs!

Love the new guidos! Came on a Tuesday night with our two year old son and sat on the large patio on coastal highway. This location is a lot more kid-friendly than the hustle bustle and high volume of the boardwalk location. Lucky for us - we had no idea - Tuesdays are half-off monsteritas and street tacos, which is what we were going to order anyway! Our little guy (and us) really enjoyed the hot fresh tortilla chips with salsa and queso. Great service, great atmosphere, great food, great value! We will definitely be back!

I'm only giving this place a star because you have to in order to write the review. I actually only created this account to let people know how absolutely disgusting the food served in this establishment is. Hands down, worst meal of my life. If you enjoy boxed sangria, store bought guacamole, mystery meat and a burrito topped with cheese whiz then you've found the right place. I wanted to go home and immediately stick my fingers down my throat after this meal- which was way over priced. Avoid this place like the plague.

I laughed when we got here and I pulled up the page to check in, and saw that the restaurant had 1 star. I've never been to a 1-star restaurant before! D: Thankfully, the experience wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. My boyfriend and I just happened to pull over here to get some non-seafood (sigh), and the huge restaurant was completely empty on the inside (some seating in the outside though, and there were at least 4 families there...so it wasn't too sketchy). We sat at the bar so that we could watch the soccer game, and our bartender was extremely nice. BEWARE, they don't take American passports as a form of ID....wth...but we were able to order a large strawberry margarita, recommended by our bartender after he asked what kind of drink I liked. I was pretty satisfied with the drink, even though there wasn't much of a kick to it--at least it tasted delicious and ended up only being $7! I ordered the wings, which were spicy but in a weird way....they were drenched in goopy sauce that I had to wipe off. My boyfriend ordered a chicken burrito, which was a pretty hefty price for $15, but at least had huge portions. There was nothing but chicken in the burrito though (no salsa, lettuce, cheese....), so keep that in mind. Overall, not too terrible of an experience, but this seems to be a place to get drinks and dance instead of a food experience.

Not a bad stop for late night drinks. Decor is.. unique to say the least. Lots of Día de Muertos symbolism going on - in the men's bathroom in particular. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday night. A group of Guidos Burritos staff that just got off work was situated next to us. Guess who got the better service? That's right, the employees. Ouch! The bartender loved to chat it up with her co-workers and was fine with neglecting other patrons. On the plus side, in anticipation of Cindo de Mayo, my good friend was given a complimentary sombrero. She will cherish this for the rest of her days. When I lived in Ocean City a few years ago, Guidos Burritos wasn't even a thing. They've only burst onto the scene in the past year or so. Now they have two locations within two miles of each other. This place has a lot of potential. The bar experience is definitely a plus. If the service can get on par with the atmosphere, it should do well.

Holy wow....I've literally been sitting here 25 mins....no one nere, still waiting to order a drink. More to come

This was my first visit here, and I walked in and got a friendly welcoming greeting. I sat at the bar, and they were pretty busy, took a minute to get a drink but once it slowed a little, the bartenders were very attentive and always made sure I was enjoying myself. The food portions were huge and everything tasted great! Lisa, one of the staff here, checked on me several times and was very upbeat and happy to be working on a Friday night.. She wanted to make sure everyone was enjoying their experience at Guidos. I'll be back every time I come to OCMD! I highly recommend the lost souls margarita!!

Only 3 stars because the burrito I got was so-so. Fish inside was kinda dry. Also, the service is not very good at all and I went when there were very few people for lunch. It was something new to try.

Visiting OCMD for my birthday my boyfriend and I passed this place and were excited it was finally open. It did not disappoint! The décor was fun and different from any other place I've been to in OC. There was great music and an overall cool atmosphere. We were seated right away, there were a few other tables of families/couples, a few people at the bar, and the option to eat outside. The waiter gave us excellent recommendations for lunch. My boyfriend ordered a chicken burrito and I got the chicken fajitas. My boyfriend eats a lot of food, and he had trouble finishing this meal. The portions we got were great for the prices we paid. The chicken was well seasoned and our meals were fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better place to get lunch on my birthday.

If you love Mexican food then this is your place! The guacamole and chips are fresh and tasty! I ordered tacos as the entree which were good but missing a little sour cream which I added. Do not order any frozen drink the flavor to my strawberry daiquiri was bland. I recommend getting margaritas and the sangria which are their specialties. Music is playing in the background and the servers are attentive. I will def come back!

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have great reviews but the food is very good. I had carnitas street style tacos and my SO had the cheeseburger bacon burrito- they were both fantastic! The prices are a little high compared to Mexican restaurants at home but this is a tourist town so it's to be expected. We will definitely be back on our next trip to OC! :)). Highly recommend!

This joint gets a one star for their decor. This was our second visit thinking we couldn't get two bad meals in a row. Actually my wife thought the last time we ate here she had an okay burrito. My previous meal was nasty. Today, they couldn't even get the margaritas right. The tacos were horrendous as was my wife's burrito. When we told the waitress we didn't get what was ordered, she said they have a new cook and there was probably a language barrier?? Hugely disappointing.

  • Marlena C.

This place not only had great service, but the food was fabulous. We started off with chips and salsa which was delicious, then moved to our main course which consisted of fajitas, salad, and a burrito in a bowl. Everything was extremely delicious from the chips to the entrée I couldn't have asked for better. A definite must go on our list every time we visit Ocean City for now on.

  • Charles C.

Hands down the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The tacos looked like I was back in jail all over again. The taco salad I ordered with chicken looked like they just stuck the meat in it and it was leaking red fluids so I'm not sure what's up with that. The waiter was cool though.

    (1)
  • Melissa L.

Don't do it. Unless you're coming for drinks, it is an overpriced, bad impression of a Mexican restaurant. Our waitress not answer even simple menu questions, things listed on the menu were met with "we don't do that" (ie. Table side guac). The food was sloppy, clearly spooned out of cafeteria-esque catering trays in the back and even the pineapple slaw on the tacos was made with canned pineapple in the dead of summer. Don't eat here. No matter how much you're craving Mexican.

  • Angelina O.

A group of Mexicans from NY came to visit and the food and service were great! Sydney, our server, was great! She offered us chips, was attentive and provided us with answers to all of our questions. Our drinks were excellent, our food was great... Aside from not having mole (a necessity for one of us), we were, overall, happy with our service! Thank you!

  • Carlotta S.

UPDATE: well apparently I got food poisoning . I was vomiting and dirreah within about 4 hours. DO NOT EAT HERE This surely isn't Mexican food. The rice is over cooked with no flavor, the Carnitas Is not even Carnitas, the shrimp was cold, and the food just don't. My poor son ended up with a terrible stomach ache. Skip this place, it's a dump. Plus the waitresses wear shirts that say tequila makes my clothes fall off and have a drink called the dirty Sanchez not really a family place to go. Go here only if you want to overdrive k and then puke.

  • Kara H.

Great place to eat. Food was pricey considering how most Mexican is fairy cheap. Did not like how the chips and salsa were $5 versus complementary but of course you have to get them! The chips were homemade in house and delicious. Salsa was great too, not too hot & cilantro was just right. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl which was AMAZING! Lots of melted queso on top, need I say more? Food came quickly. Will definitely be going back again.

I'm not sure why the ratings are so low here to be honest. I went there while on vacation and wanted to give it a fair chance and I'm really glad I did! The service we received that day was excellent (shout out to our waiter, Jake!), the food was fairly priced and gave you a huge portion, and the Swedish fish margarita was on point as well. The sauce they topped the burritos with was on point as well. I'd say judge it for yourself!

  • Mary T.

This place was awful! ! Taco bell has higher quality mexican food. The chicken clearly comes from a frozen bag of chicken. The waitress actually got upset when one of our party asked for a glass of orange juice because her drink was to strong. She stated " your actually complaining because you're drink is to strong? " while wearing a shirt that said " tequila makes my clothes fall off". The food us extremely overpriced for the quality. ..do not eat here. Drink here if your sole purpose is to get drunk. ...and remove your clothes. The only positive was how the manager handled our issues. ..hats off to him!

The service is super slow. The food was decent depending on what you got. Had a few tequilas because they had a good selection.

Came with a large group, split into two tables, ok no problem... Two different servers helped us, the other table had their food and drinks prompt and quickly.. Ours.. well thats another story, the other table had their drinks while we still had our menus.. When we finally did order (which was just apps and drinks) the service was terribly slow. When one of the members of my party brought it to the attention of someone who I guess was the Assistant floor manager, she offered to comp us an order of queso.. We gladly took it but in retrospect maybe someone's drinks should have been comped or an app we actually ordered. Next trip will definitely move along for apps and drinks.

Several issues: we ordered water for the table and we got 1 glass. My margarita has barely any alcohol in it and tastes like flavored water. The same was for my sisters and my mothers drinks. my sister and mother got tacos. They were disgusting. The avacado looks fake. And it was so gross my mother refused to eat it. Then, I ordered a burrito, I explained that I have a gluten sensitivity and needed a corn tortilla, it came out on a flour one. I specified 3 times. They fixed it, in a short time, in fact my order was sent back at 7:33 and came out at 7:38. My dad's chimichanga came out at 7:44 10minutes after mine was fixed. Not really sure why it took that much longer. Their menu is also not up to date. It is not the same as the one online. I gave it a 2 stars only because I had really good drinks two days ago. We had more issues but I feel these were our main ones and large enough that they should be addressed.

Awful service, food was okay but does not make up for the service. We were seated in the back and forgot about. We waited 20 minutes before a server came over to even take our drink orders. The waitress was not apologetic about the wait at all and simply said well it's busy. She wouldn't serve me because I did not have my ID, I'm clearly over 21 but I did not argue but she did ID my parents, thought this was very strange. The margaritas come out of a premixed machine that has been sitting there for god knows how long. When our food came we were missing a dish and the waitress came over to see if we needed anything 10 minutes later didn't even realize she didn't bring them all out. Go somewhere else.

How does a restaurant not have their signature foods? I asked about some chips and salsa. The answer was....the salsa is homemade and there is a $5.00 charge. Are they kidding? I ordered steak fajitas. What was served was a platter of peppers and onions with a few scraps of tough, tasteless mystery meat. This place is simply awful and should not be allowed to call itself a restaurant. This was a pure waste of my hunger and money. Taco Bell would have been better and less expensive.

I had only gotten the Monsterita from here. It was huge! We battled on who can finish it first, that wasnt a smart idea! But the drink was really good!

If I could give this place negative stars I would! Came her with the family during memorial weekend. The volume was a lot but based on the other reviews I doubt that had anything to do with this awful excuse of food! All of our orders came out at different times, my order was completely wrong but after waiting for one hour I told the waitress I would just eat it. The portion was unacceptable for the price I paid! Literally boxes rice with maybe 6 over cooked shrimps around the plate. Some of the orders were cold, and just nasty! Wilted lettuce, refried beans that looked like diarrhea. Never ever will I go back! Stay far away!

I've visited this place countless years on the boardwalk and had nothing but high reviews for this place. After ordering pick up today I couldn't be more let down. The tacos were skimpy and they weren't served with rice and beans like the menu states. I will not be returning.

This place is brutally bad...only go here for drinks. After waiting for an hour we finally got seated and our waitress rarely got us drinks (we even ordered the bottomless chips and we had to ask another guy for a refill because she never came back). It took at least 30 mins to get our food. Everyone's meal was cold, the rice and bean portions were miniscule, and the taco salads that 2 of us got looked like it was regurgitated into the taco shell. We talked to the manager about those meals and all we were offered was for those 2 meals to not be charged. They didn't even ask if we wanted a replacement meal and the waitress never apologized until we were walking out the door. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife...

Went for dinner on a Saturday night when Os playoff game was on. Great party atmosphere and we were seated with little wait. Service time was average even with a full house. Soft drinks promptly refilled. The high top tables in dining were very close together and neighboring seats kept bumping ours. Appetizer portions very small for the price. The restaurant is within walking distance of the ocean, yet the shrimp salad was made with tiny canned/frozen shrimp-very disappointing. My Chambord margarita was delicious but there was neither salt nor sugar on the rim and no option was offered for either. Like many resort restaurants, fun and tasty place to visit on a vacation budget but as a local I will opt for other Mexican places in the area.

  • Jennifer Z.

This restaurant looks cool and inviting from the outside, even the inside has great ambiance. However, the food and service are some of the worse. The chips were from a bag and we had to pay for chips and salsa. The tacos were wrapped in cheap tortillas that fell apart as soon as you touched them. The enchiladas tasted like the sauce was from a jar. Awful, just awful! The service was also sub-par. Stay away, stay far away.

Stopped here because the name was funny and it was on the way. It's early afternoon and not a soul in the joint. Then I checked the reviews, yikes. They have issues with portioning. There was little consistency in what they brought out, the timing was bad. Not all the food came at once. Once they brought the food we were suddenly overrun by flies. Our server did not speak english clearly and it was a bit off putting. Saw one couple walk in and leave before we were served. The food was average, nothing outstanding. Chicken mole took long time to come out and they ran out of chicken so we only got a partial order. The rice was undercooked and crunchy.

I went with 3 friends last night, and the 3 of us who got chicken burritos all got food poisoning this morning. If you want a great, painful 12 hour enema, this is where you should go. The sugar skull shots were horrible as well.

  • Zach Y.

Place is terrible. We ordered 4 different things and every time they came out and told us they were out. Ordered an small app and that was ok at best. NEVER GO!!

  • Caroline F.

First of all, what type of Mexican restaurant doesn't bring free chips and salsa? We had to order chips and guac, which was pretty subpar. The chips had a mystery powder sprinkled on top and the guac could have come from Taco Bell. The fajitas looked more like stir frys; the chicken had been cooked in bits and pieces and came on a mountain of vegetables. The tortillas were definitely not homemade and the condiments came in plastic containers. Definitely not worth $20. The only redeeming factor here is the carnitas tacos; they were pretty decent except for the canned pineapple. Margaritas were bad, according to one member of our party. Iced tea had an off taste, like it had been sitting for a long time.

Had dinner here tonight after recommendation from family. Had a sangria and friend had a coconut crush. Both drinks were perfect. I had a chicken quesadilla with jalapeños added. It was not not as spicy as I prefer but great once I added cholula sauce. Friend had the fish tacos. They forgot the spicy sauce that comes with it but brought it as soon as we noticed. Everything was fresh & tasty. Our waitress was nice and gave good suggestions when asked about the food. I am glad I did not read all the reviews before I went, but we had a good experience. I know this one just opened last summer and it takes time to get right I guess. I will go try this place again and let everyone know if it is still good.

My taco was good but the burrito was cold and bland. I ordered the street corn and a fish taco as appetizers. The mix of the cool mango and hot fried fish made this taco notable. I was expecting some sort of kick from the sauce, but was disappointed. The corn was roasted goodness. I have never had street corn before, but I liked the corn at Guidos Burrito. Didn't have the Mexican kick in seasoning and spices in the Guidos Burrito as I was expecting. It was a bit flat for being stuffed with a spicy Chorizo sausage. Tasted more like ground beef. The rice and black bean sides followed suit being very bland. The service was fast and curious (replaced my cold burrito with a warmer one).

  • Daniel A.

Horrible experience. Good came out with cold food and asked to reheat brought out plates still cold for second time. As I was eating my burrito I found plastic inside the burrito. Manager was no where to be found and was un apologetic. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Management and staff are ridiculous.

  • Kristen B.

This place was horrible! My friends and I went for some divine Mexican food and ended up with soggy rice, an enchilada with unmelted cheese, and chips that were flaky and down right disgusting.. and NOT FREE. Even the salsa was a complete disgrace...how can you go wrong with salsa?! I would not recommend this place to anyone. We asked to talk to a manager and the manager barely even gave a shit. She didn't apologize or offer a new entree. She just said "I'll take a look at the check" and walked away. Do not make the mistake of going here, you will regret it.

    (1)
  • Steve M.

I am giving one star because zero isn't an option. Good food and drinks, but I have never been treated so poorly by a manager. This is a typical OC restaurant that treats "tourists" like crap. The type of restaurant that doesn't care if you come back and is bothered to have to deal with you. We spend our entire summer in OC and spend a lot of money at shops, bars and restaurants, but this place will never get another penny from me.

    (1)
  • Andrew H.

Food was good, though a bit overpriced. It is the beach so that was not a surprise. The taco meal was $15 and the fajitas $20. Service was average and they seemed a bit understaffed. Decor was nice. It would have been a nice place to sit outside, but the were concerned about rain so they made everyone sit inside.

  • Ed B.

I wanted to eat at Mother's Cantina based on reviews. But it was overcrowded. This place was pretty empty. One of my daughters had a fish taco and they forgot to put the mango salsa on it. My other daughter had a classic beef burrito which she thought was spicy and good. I had the namesake Guido's burrito which I thought lacked flavor and included rice as a filler. The rice was bland. The corn cob was a little bland even though it had some sort of spice on it (not enough). The refried beans were too soupy. We also had the churro dessert which was ok, but the fried ice cream that came with it was only so so. We ended up paying $100 which was not worth it. I won't be coming back.

    (2)
  • Joe C.

Margaritas were good, The guacamole was mushy, the chicken in the enchiladas was dark and the was no ranchero sauce as stated. There was no sauce only melted cheese. This place could be a hit. Owner should check out Rocco's Tacos in Ft. Lauderdale, they do it right. Ocean city needs good Mexican so I hope they get it right, we'll try again.

    (2)
  • John L.

Really disappointing. Cold Stale chips. Our waitress replaced them and they were at least fresh but still not the warm chips you except to get. Queso tasted like grocery canned dip. Burritos had no cohesion. All the ingredients were very dry and tasteless. Plating was sloppy and strange. And the prices seem insane even for Ocean City.

    (2)
  • Cristine P.

As a late fan of Mexican food I would say these burritos were just alright. The queso was delicious, a must try but what really makes this place special is the 60 oz sangria! The food took a very long time to come out but my boyfriend and I were in no rush so it didn't bother us as much as it may have bothered someone who was in a hurry or was very hungry. Our server brought us our dishes without the corn on the cob and instead of informing us that it was cooking and would be out as soon as it was finished, he waited to see if we would notice( which of course my boyfriend did because corn is his favorite) overall, I might suggest this place for the 60 oz sangrias and margaritas but nothing else.

    (2)
  • Kristine T.

The food and drinks were good however we weren't acknowledge by a server for about half an hour from the moment we sat down. There were a lot of empty tables and the server told us he was really busy but that's not an excuse for not acknowledging a customer is there

We came in last night to your 33rd street location, service was the worst we have ever encountered in OC. Your food was great (what us 2 adults ordered) BUT service wise it sucked! Our waitress was working both indoors & outdoors. Then when she took our food order, shouldn't you know ahead of time that food is NOT available? If we would've known that you didn't have the kids chicken fingers with fries we wouldn't have placed our drink orders!! We then asked her how hot the taco meat was since both kids had to get tacos then & again she shrugged her shoulders. Our waitress never came back to see how our food was or even if I wanted another drink. We complained to manager it was like he didn't care and as we were getting ready to ask for the check he asked if I wanted another drink? REALLY Mr Manager, I wanted my drink with my meal!!!! Urghh sorry but won't be back to this location at all!!!

Watered down drinks. Food and service = bad. They also do not have air conditioning, so prepare to be hot.

Good Mexican food for a tourist area. Our server was very nice and pretty attentive (thin, blonde). Unfortunately we got there too late to be able to try out the crab/corn chowder which we were kinda bummed about. Margaritas were excellent, especially the Swedish fish. Will definitely visit again.

  • Chris K.

DO NOT EAT! Place is gross, bathroom are filthy. Beer bottles had sludge on them and the fajita burrito was filled with rice a few pieces of frozen steak in it and on the side you get more rice and cold beans. The best part was the cob was the best part. It's expensive way way way to expensive for frozen food. And the service should get 0 stars. And the lady was mad at me she forget our chips at the end of the meal.

  • Briana J.

What a joke. A Mexican wanna-b Hooters. Terrible food, bland, no taste and took forever. Such a disappointment. I wish I could rewind the time I spent there and go somewhere else. Not to mention we had to ask the waitress over and over for items. Don't waste your time.

    (1)
  • Renee B.

If I could leave "0" stars I would. Once we finally got our food, I thought I ordered a kids meal. There was no more then 2 teaspoons of rice and the same goes for the beans. When asked if that was the real serving size, the serve stated we can give you more but we will have to charge you. Just when I thought asking for the manager was enough, to explain this horrible adult serving size and the service, the server comes back with two plates , one with rice and the other a plate with beans and HER THUMB! Don't go here!! Busy or not it not the way I would prefer to spend my hard earned money .

We came here 6/30 and watched the World Cup semifinal game. The bartender was great and very accommodating. We are slow with ordering so we could watch the whole game and he did not rush us. While there, we overheard that the second bartender called out causing the current bartender to work the service bar and make drinks for the entire restaurant as well as tend to his guests at the bar. He did a great job considering that was a nice bit of work. We noticed that the manager never once helped him outside of bringing ice. The manager even joked about calling the bartender "weedy" because there were times when he would get weeded. My wife and I both thought that was poor managing. The food was great. It took a little time but we weren't in a hurry and he bartender was conscious of the wait. In all, the food was good, service was great but management was very poor. He didn't act as a team player.

The absolute worst Mexican food I have ever tried to eat. Taco Bell far exceeds this garbage. The chicken looks the meat you pull off a chicken carcass or its roadkill. Awful. You know you have dry, bland food when you have to pour your soda on it just to get it down. There's no one there and I can see why. Get a burrito at 7-11 before you go to this place. Both my wife and myself got sick that night.

  • Liz R.

Worst place ever. They started by telling us the don't take large groups ( we were 6 women). Then it was give us 15 min but the place was more than half empty. The busboy was picking his nose and then touching stuff. The plates were dirty that they brought to our table. We had to ask for utensils. The guacamole was old and so not fresh. The beef quesadilla was awful! There is NOTHING Mexican about this place whatsoever. I would love to know who runs this establishment. You need to understand the concept of "Mexican" and at least play some mexican music at bare minimum. The only Mexican thing is a sombrero. Pathetic.

After reading these reviews, I was a bit shocked at how people rated Guido Burrito. I visited Ocean City, Maryland during the dew tour in 2013. I am in my young 20's, and I really had a fun time. My boyfriend and I got the monsterita - a 60z Margherita! It was awesome, and if you order another one you get discounts. We both got different burritos - we event tried the cheeseburger one. I thought they were yummy and they came with rice, corn, and beans. They have awesome loaded nachos and $2 beer specials. They were open late, and the music was fun. It is more of a younger crowd so that is why I enjoyed it. Compared to the other places I visited in OC, this was one of the better ones!

If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would, I honestly hope this slop hole gets struck by lightning and burns to the ground. I've never in my life had such a god awful experience at a restaurant. My extended family and I stayed in OC for a week and enjoyed every moment of it leading up to our visit to Guido's Burritos, on our last night before we would need to leave we decided to eat at Guido's Burritos. Every year for the past 12 years we have gone out to eat the last night and had a fantastic time, damn shame we chose Guido's this time and I kick myself for not checking out some of the Yelp reviews already posted before visiting this place. Upon entering the establishment we asked to sit outside and were told by the hostess "No, you no sit out. Must sit inside". We then asked if we could have a high chair but the hostess did not know what that was. We asked a second girl working at the establishment if we could have a high chair and after a few moments of confusion the two of them were able to figure it out. There were 7 people in our party and we were sat in a booth meant for about 4 people, 5 if someone were to sit at the end of the table. We thought this was odd because we walked past many open round tables on the way. After ordering our drinks I got up to use the rest room and found a squished cockroach in the bathroom as well as ample amounts of piss on the floor. It wasn't the end of the world and I still planned to enjoy myself so I did not mention this to the rest of my party. The waiter was awesome, it seemed as though he was taking care of every patron while most of the other employees just continued to wander around looking confused. He brought out our drinks and we asked if we could move to a larger table. He said "Yeah, no problem... I thought it looked a little cramped over there" or something to that effect. He was great, like I said before... he even offered to help us move our items but we told him we were fine with them. As a matter of a fact I feel really sorry for him. The fact that this place is run the way it is must affect him quite regularly. He took our orders and we waited while munching on chips, salsa and guacamole. Unfortunately when our food came out our waiter didn't carry it out and I can only assume the girl handling it had just arrived on this planet that night and was new to...well...everything. First she brought out one plate for my brother in laws girlfriend who has a dairy allergy and ordered no cheese...it had cheese on it! I told the girl and she said "cheese?" I couldn't help myself and I said "Yes, it is a dairy product derived from milk." I normally wouldn't have said something like this but I knew she wouldn't understand a word I said and as I suspected she didn't because she just stared blankly and said "I'm sorry". It took a while but she eventually understood what we were pointing at and trying to tell her and she brought the dish in to the kitchen and pulled SOME of the cheese off and returned it. She brought out some more plates but sadly did not know what any of the plates contents were. She handed them out to the middle and we passed them to what we could figure out to be the correct dish for each person. But wait! We were missing an entrée...that's ok though because when we told the girl serving us she promptly responded with "No?" and stood there. We waited and after one member of our party took a bite from two plates that she told him were the buffalo chicken burrito the waiter rushed to our table with the buffalo chicken burrito! Now with each of us finally having our meals in front of us we were ready to eat. I took a sip of my soda and looked over to my wife and watched her gag and pull a long hair out of her mouth while puking up on the plate in front of her. She had had enough and grabbed my daughter and went and sat on the deck (guess it was a good thing for us after all that they don't allow anyone on the deck) I asked to speak with the manager and did not mention the entirety of the experience, I only focused on letting him know that there had been a long hair that got caught in my wife's throat and caused her to puke on her food and plate while attempting to pull it out. I also mentioned that I peeked into the kitchen and noticed the cook with dirty dreads to his shoulder and asked why he wasn't wearing a hair net. I did not receive an apology or any type of rectification to the situation. He just looked at me with a dead stare and said "None of the restaurants here make their cooks wear hair nets." He then told me there was nothing he could do as this kind of thing happens and walked away.

Family of 3 did not finish there meals. Food was not good. I should have listened to the reviews. It's a bit pricey as well. One and done here. I do not recomend.

Safe to say that this place's reputation precedes itself. Where do I begin? Second time here...food is mediocre at best. Taco Bell may have a leg up on Guido's Burritos. Food is very pricy and portions are very small, even by resort town standards. Ordered chips, salsa, guac and queso to snack on. Had a 3oz styrofoam cup of each dip for $18. Total ripoff for canned sauce/dip. Drinks were on the higher price end as well. Place has 6 draft beers, 3 of which are Miller Lt, Bud Lt and Coors Lt. Get a clue and broaden your beer selection. Bartenders were very unfriendly and more concerned with charging their phones and talking in the corner with each other rather than waiting on customers at their bar. Bathrooms were embarrassingly filthy. Feces stains lined the toilet bowl and seat. Snot rockets decorated the walls and flies overtook the men's room. The OC Boardwalk bathrooms are more sanitary. This place is a must avoid. Total waste of money and time. Plenty of better options in OCMD.

Saw them building the new location last year and went there last night to try it out. Disappointed overall. Overpriced and undersized portions make for a poor combination. We ordered chips & queso ($6.99) to start, the chips were not very good and the queso was average. Our waitress asked if we wanted some salsa as well, we said sure. Found out at the end of the night that she then charged us an additional ($4.99) for chips & salsa! So we paid over $12 for chips and salsa and queso! We got 2 kids meals, one they got wrong, the other had a small cheese quesadilla and soggy fries underneath. Both poor quality. My wife had shrimp tacos, she though they were good, with a bit of a spicy sauce. They charged her for sour cream though. I got a pulled pork burrito platter. My rice and refried beans were mediocre, and my pulled pork was dry and not very good. I couldn't finish the burrito. The best part of my meal was the pineapple salsa on the side (of which I didn't get nearly enough for a full size burrito). Overall, it was a poor meal, we will not be back.

Went with a party of 6 adults and 2 kids on September 2. The service was pretty bad, I hope it's just bc they opened recently. We put in an order for 2 of the jumbo margaritas for the adults to share and they didn't show up until we were almost done with our meals (per our server, the bartender wasn't around and he had to wait for the manager to make them - meanwhile tables around us were getting mixed drinks served). My friend asked for no onions on her salad and it came with onions - she asked for a new one and got attitude from the food runner. The second salad had no dressing and when my friend requested some, the same food runner told her it didn't come with dressing (though first salad did and it's printed in menu). No milk or juice for the kids, we ended up giving them water since the only other option was soda. I thought the food was pretty good (though pricy for what we got), but the lousy service left everyone annoyed. Probably won't go back unless I see better reviews next summer once they've had time to get established in this new location.

Is there a thumbs down? This place was just awful! The service was poor (we finally had to flag down someone to wait on us). Our margaritas were terrible- the worst I have ever had and it was supposedly top shelf! After our order was placed she came back 20 minutes later to say what we ordered was not available, but didn't bring back the menu. After we finally ordered and got our food it was TERRIBLE! The fajitas had no flavor at all, served with a corn tortilla that immediately disintegrated. Burrito was 50 percent rice with a side of rice!! The final icing on the cake was our credit card receipt delivered without a pen...we had to personally go hunt one down since there wasn't a server in sight anywhere! We were able to intercept a potential customer in the parking lot who asked us how it was as we were leaving. We told them we would never go back and never recommend.... Told them to leave while they could!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
